why reservation???
I dont know why these try to wake me up so early,some trying to peep through the glass and find a gap between the curtains to directly touch my face,the only part in my body not covered in this chilled rainy season in bangalore, the other forcing me come out of my blanket and the other continuously ringing almost in my ear.Actually i was amid a dream about the reservation & anti-reservation chaos going on in the country...
Firstly hats off to the medicos in Aiims and all others who strongly are opposing reservations.Iam not against anti-reservation; but the mails,messages,smss' and other communication channels really screwed me up.ok i will start narrating my dream.I woke up early in the morning and surprisingly,i was browsing through some newspaper sites instead of my favourite site(as my frnds say,ofcourse i feel the same).Suddenly i came accross Mr.Arjun singh's statement in the headlines,withdrawing all his proposals he had put forth regarding reservations.Each and every one who took part directly or indirectly are happy with the statement.
To everyone's surprise Mr.Arjun singh placed a committee to find out the measures to uplift the backward ppl(some indians like to be called this as some say...do they really like to be called,did they ever tell anyone...).
[Do u really think our minister is going to do that,he is very much intersted in placing a new proposal to get popular...]
Every medico who took a greater role in Anti-Reservation got realized by our minister's act and so decided to go to every village and offer every poor family free treatment and teach them measures to keep good health and offer them free education with the help of other students from other fields.
[Medicos as we know,they shout when they face any problems and they are not concerned with the other problems in the country and lured by the packages in other rich countries.Other students(we can address them as merits who miss the seats in top institutes bcoz of reservation) get the seats where they want and just fly away from the country, not bothering about why reservation should be given or not given,because his offsprings are not going to stay here and face these problems in this damn country where there is no value for Merit.]
One of our friends who was very impressive in creating songs for anti-reservation, starts creating albums to influence people to encourage them to help poor and bkwd people.
[No way he does this, now no one gets impressed by his work as they are busy in other activities.]
Here comes our great friend whose was really the great participation in forwarding mails,messages,sms and other damn things.He now sends mails,messages,sms to all his friends to help the poor and bkwd people so that there will not again be a damn discussion on reservation.
[He is very happy with minister's statement and starts forwarding mails,messages,sms and other things showing his happiness and praising all his friends for the great work, instead of doing some constructive deeds.]
My goodness its not someone trying to wake me up, its sunlight,coolbreeze and my alarm.Its not even early,the time is 8:50am and i have to attend a class.I could not finish my dream,otherwise I would be happy as there will be no discussion on reservation agian, because there will be nothing called "backward" and "scheduled" as everyone is equal now.
Ok after writing this blog,am i against reservation or not? Iam sure im not against reservation or willing towards reservation, because there are still people who live in the outskirts of villages(even outskirts of cities ofcourse sometimes they are overcrowded,but wht about villages.) near the graveyards.Why are they living there?do they like living there away from others?Our great friends who say there should be no reservation based on the religion,are they going to respect these people if they live with them?
Iam not supporting reservations,because i strongly believe that there should be no reservation based on religion,it should be limited to the financial status of a family.I also know how merit students suffer sometimes probably many a times because of this(i personally saw my best friends worry as they could not get good seats for their ranks).As we should not lose the talented young spirits which is going in vain.There should be nothing called a religion, Govt. should pass an act to stop people carrying the names of religions.It would be difficult in the beginning to follow this act,but atleast our next generations will have the freedom of living together with no religious feelings inside.

There is no hope for this as i see it..our politicians who crave for votes and the govt.s formed by these parties can never bring such an act.Religion,caste etc are quite essential for these parties to survive.
Your blog seemed to me like a mirror of thoughts of many people who think with a little bit of commonsense.
YES!! It's quite a pity that in these days also we find people who care a damn for others.
Its the duty of our generation to bring down the differences in caste and religion and thus offer a better world for the next generations to live in.This is just a HOPE..But HOPE is always a good thing and let every good thing prevail.
"What does it Matter to me"
As long as this attitude prevails in us, there is little we can do to deal with the situation.
We need to change our Mindsets( change for good ) and help others to help ourselves.
Sekhar please change the background yaar !!! its having a great effect on eyes while reading and i am able to feel the glare on my eyes even after 5 minutes or so.
